Resilience Tour: Peterborough, Kingston, Ottawa

The show in Peterborough was a challenge, but People You Meet Outside Of Bars and I won the night! Unfortunately, Wax Mannequin was sick and unable to attend this show but we carried on and made a great night. There were moments of excitement, and moments of complete silence.

Kingston has been very good to me. Firstly, I did an interview with Kingstonist which was put into print, and I had my first ever TV interview on CKWS! It was a thrilling experience. Wax Mannequin and I had a lively, high energy concert at Musiiki. The crowd was a diverse mix of folks who were highly attentive.

Ottawa was sweet. My family came out and showed support for my music, and Christine Jackel. I did a radio interview with CKCU earlier in the week which set a good tone for the evening. Also, my song No Words was debuted on CBC’s show Big City Small World on this same day!

Touring is a wild ride. The Resilience EP and music video are over 2 weeks old now. I have no thanks great enough for the people who have housed me, befriended me, and come out to the shows. I appreciate all of you.

Next stop, Montreal! Joelle, Ameenah and I will be bringing our energy to the Brasserie Beaubiens stage on Thursday night.
