These past 12 days have been the most challenging and rewarding. Being a one woman touring machine can take it’s toll, but it’s worth it!
Montreal was a wonder, I felt so alive and free in the city! Joelle was a gracious host, and a fabulous performer in the concert. I played my Octave mando for one of her pieces, and we sang Dreams by Fleetwood Mac together! It was an intimate night with Ameenah joining us on the bill. We also ran into our friends Moonfruits and Piper & Carson at Resonance Cafe! It was a welcomed surprise.
Boston was a real trip, the performers who were in the round with me were fabulous. We played off of each other’s energy and conversed with the crowd. Club Passim is a unique venue with big heart, I hope to return soon. I stayed with my friend Sam, who is an excellent fiddle player and amazing friend. It was sad to leave…
Next, I am speaking at the Transforming Trauma Conference this Friday at the Toronto Police College!
